I have found that many personalised training programs or trainers don’t adjust or create programs that accomodate for weekend games and the soreness that follows into the week. Having Jacob create a program that accounted for these factors was perfect, and allowed me to maximise my training both the days leading up to games and the soreness that came post games. Before training with Jacob, I was struggling with awareness of running technique. I lacked an understanding of balance; load vs recovery and how/when to increase and decrease load for overall performance improvement. My session’s had less direction and were more on the spot training. I consider training before to have been unstructured sessions with no clear goal or have a session outcome. I felt like structure and understanding of why we are doing certain movements/exercises was missing from my training. Training with Jacob impacted the results I was getting through improved running technique, which resulted in better balance and speed. Before FootyFit, I was struggling with improving my lower body strength for injury prevention.
